On January 26th, at the Audre Lorde Project, QBC will be showcasing the films and shorts of from the community’s pioneering as well as emerging filmmakers. Some of films being screened include Luther Mace’s “On the Low”; Faith Trumel’s “Black Aura on an Angel”; Angel Brown’s “Desperate for Love” and many more! In addition to showcasing films, QBC is actively looking to premiere music tracks during the QBC preview show as well as create a space where artists can come out and promote their work directly to the community. This event is journeying to become historic and fierce forum for today’s Black LGBTQ artists!
I hope you will consider being part of Queer Black Cinema, a grassroots organization determined to make QBC the next “Apollo to showcase the Black LGBTQ Experience”.
